Winnetoon Mall & Post Office - Winnetoon                2025 

 

Winetoon Mall & Post Office is a must see. You'll  take a walk along the 1910 Boardwalk with historic storefronts and buildings. 

This is a project envisioned by Gayle Neuhaus and built by Joe Serres.  Gayle owned several empty lots right here and wanted to recreate a village she used to know.  Gayle's daughter is now the owner and is planning on restoring it to what it started as when Gayle and Joe first built it.

Along the Boardwalk there are plants and flowers that make the walk even more pleasurable.  Many of the building you see here are not actually buildings.  Look closely and you'll see how some of them are made.

Close by is a Natural Food Co-op that is loaded with bakery, handmade Goat's Milk lotions and soaps, gift items, natural products such as herbs and so much more.  We are only listing a few items.  There are so many things, we can't list them all.  Cindy really likes soap made with Goat's Milk so she bought some.  

You can drive up with a car or what ever is available to you.  After your walk you can cross the street and visit Elaine's Tavern for a meal, if you have time.  Winnetoon is a pretty remarkable place, especially since it's well off any road to anywhere.
