Cumberland's Fashions - Geneva                                        2025 

 This is a popular store in Geneva for women's fashions.  In looking through all the comments of Facebook one theme seems pretty common, the friendliness of the owner.  Plus the variety of goods to select from.

We spent quite a bit of time here because of that.  We also learned a lot of how the store has fared over the years.  When highways routes change, it often leads to reductions in business.  Here at this store, it had the opposite effect, business increased.

 When the store was remodeled, the old floor grate was kept.  It used to be the hot air in the winter.  Now with a forced air system, it has become the cold air intake.  I had a photo of it but it somehow became corrupt.  If I can fix it, I'll put it in later but many of you know what I'm referring to.

Another thing kept from the beginning is the original cash register.
